Dina Belyayeva is a New England-based, Russian-born contemporary realist artist. She received her training in a town near Moscow, famous for its historical artist colony. Early on she worked in portraiture and illustration honing her skills in representational genres. After her move to the United States, she pursued career paths in business and academia. Those experiences provided her with multifaceted inputs and created pre-requisite conditions for developing a language to access parts of collective unconscious. She began experimenting with mediums and visuals in 2017, and starting in 2020 she dedicated herself fully to her art practice. Her visual style is fluid with a strong emotional signature that provides a unifying theme for her artworks. As an emerging artist, Dina Belyayeva received recognition at juried exhibitions and her works found homes in private collections in the United States and across Europe.
